Begin in the ancient city of Exeter to marvel at its Gothic cathedral, then explore the picturesque market towns of south Devon en route to Plymouth. After exploring its historic districts and seafood restaurants, continue along the spectacular South Cornwall coast to the pretty harbour of Falmouth and its Henry VIII-built castle.

After visiting Land's End, spend a day seal-spotting in arty St. Ives before hitting the rugged Atlantic Coast and the legendary surf beaches of Newquay.

Return inland via King Arthur's castle at Tintagel to discover the rich mining heritage of Tavistock and its 10th-century abbey ruins, before journeying through the wild moorlands of Dartmoor National Park on the way back to Exeter.
